I am a biologist whose research centers on the evolution of bird species and their characteristic traits.

I use whole genome sequencing, museum specimens, field sampling, digital media archives, and machine learning phenotyping to better understand avian coloration, speciation, and biogeography.

As as Rose Postdoctoral Fellow at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, I am currently investigating the genomic and ecological drivers of eye color variation across birds.
